God is always good, regardless of our current set of circumstances. He was good when my brother died. He was good when I went through the most difficult valley of my life six months ago.

Having said that, sometimes God chooses to reveal His goodness in different ways in our lives.

I'm very thankful God has chosen to reveal His goodness in a new way in my life.

You remind me of a little child, grinning from ear to ear who sings the little mantra we all know in that small, high-pitched voice of excitement, "I got a secret, I got a secret!" lol Well, knowing how good our God is, it must be an AMAZING new way!!! SO WHAT IS IT!?!?!?!? Or am I going to just have to wait? *pouts back in her chair at the thought* jk! Have a good week!

His goodness is not only constant and consistent, even when we fail to see it clearly, it is certain to exceed our expectations and imagination! That's all that we can or should focus on that God is good all the time and that all the time God is good. Glad to hear that he's revealing his goodness to you in a new way.

@WinkAtTheCabDriver - Yes, definitely encouraged! Not only by a certain sequence of events in my life, but most of all encouraged by God's faithfulness. His timing is perfect.

@Leslie - Thanks! I share in your big grin. You would be correct. Last night I went out to eat with a friend I hadn't seen in a while and he asked if this was the continuation of the story I started telling him when he came with me to cover a game in October of 07. I said yes and all he could say was, "Wowwww." lol
